Yes, because wine tasting is nothing more than the highest form of labour and dreams glorification that allow us to strike a chord in front of a glass of wine.
To better understand the story of each wine, and be able to tell about it to someone else, I studied a lot and I keep studying. Because every bottle uncorked opens a world of discoveries.
After the conclusion of the classic 3 levels path and being granted the Fisar Sommelier Certificate (Fisar is the Italian Federation of Sommelier, Hotelier and Restaurateur), the pleasure for sharing the knowledge led me to become Sommelier Course Director, managing then the courses for wannabe Sommelier and, eventually, to obtain the qualification as wine educator for these courses.
In the meantime, to further expand the knowledge and see a different point of view on the wine world, I achieved the Third Level Wset (Wine and Spirit Education Trust), possibly the most important organization in the wine world; but, at any given target we can find a more challenging one: so here I am, a student of Diploma Wset, studying path of at least 2 years which will lead to one of the highest levels of competences.
